Description

Google’s post-mortem culture is becoming famous, but not many teams have a practice of running post-mortems as a part of their incident management process in the company. And more importantly, one needs to understand how to set the stage for psychologically safe and trusted environment for running post-mortems.

In this hands-on session we will run post-mortem on a simulated production incident, inspired from my work facilitating these sessions with teams. You’ll be working in groups, and we’ll evaluate your findings in plenary. We will discuss lessons that are applicable to running your own post-mortems.
