Friday afternoon 14:00 - 16:00 CET (UTC+1)

Eliran Natan

This hands-on workshop is a practical introduction for developers and architects who wish to discover the basic ideas behind Event Sourcing and CQRS. We start off with a basic CRUD service as we gradually apply a combination of Event-sourcing and CQRS patterns while enforcing basic DDD principles. In this session, you will:

(a) Understand the basic ideas behind Event-sourcing and CQRS. (b) Understand how and why Event-sourcing and CQRS go hand-by-hand. (c) Understand how Event-sourcing and CQRS help to leverage a Domain-driven approach.

Practical information

We use Java. About one week before the conference starts, you would find the starter-kit here: (not available yet)

Please make sure to download it and run it on your local environment before we start the session.
